The Carroll Flow: A Father, A Son, and a Lifetime of Songs

Some music careers span decades. Others are just beginning.

The Carroll Flow brings both together.

In 2026, Tampa-based musicians Tim Carroll and Garrett Carroll are releasing their first solo acoustic recordings, a father with more than thirty years of songwriting finally documenting his life’s work, and a son releasing his debut single at twenty-two.

This is not a comeback story.

It’s a legacy story.

Tim Carroll: Three Decades of Songs, Finally Recorded

Tim Carroll has been writing and performing original music since the 1980s. From early days on the New York rock circuit to later forming the Florida-based band Biggodtalking in the Tampa Bay area, he has written more than one hundred original songs.

For decades, most of that catalog lived only in rehearsal rooms, live performances, and memory.

In January 2026, Tim stepped into a Miami studio to record a stripped-down acoustic collection of songs that have waited years to be heard properly.

The result is raw, honest, and deeply human.

These are not trend-chasing songs. They are lived-in songs.

Songs about love, time, reflection, regret, resilience, and hope.

For the first time, they are being documented the way they deserve.

Garrett Carroll: The First Release

At twenty-two, Garrett Carroll is releasing his first official single, “Cold Water.”

While Tim’s songs carry decades of life experience, Garrett’s writing reflects the urgency and emotion of a young artist finding his voice.

His sound blends modern folk sensibility with classic songwriter influence, intimate, melodic, and lyrically intentional.

“Cold Water” marks the beginning of what will be a steady series of releases throughout 2026.

The goal isn’t overnight fame.

It’s building one hundred real listeners who truly connect with the music.

Why The Carroll Flow Exists

The Carroll Flow was created to document and release music that was too meaningful to stay hidden.

It’s a family project built on shared creativity: writing, recording, filming, designing, promoting, and preserving songs that might otherwise never leave the hard drive.

This isn’t a marketing experiment.

It’s a decision to stop waiting.

To stop saying “someday.”

To document the work.

To honor the songs.

To build something together.

What’s Next

Garrett’s debut single “Cold Water” releases February 21, 2026.

Tim’s acoustic recordings follow shortly after.

New music will be released consistently throughout the year.

This is the beginning of the archive.

The beginning of the documentation.

The beginning of the flow.

Follow The Carroll Flow for new releases, studio sessions,  and behind the scenes documentation throughout 2026.
